I am in the same situation; in my case a colleague upgraded the the original v3 processors that were ordered with the server to newer v4 and did NOT apply this update first, as the Advisory c specifies. I have not yet attempted to run the Windows version of the file linked in the Advisory and wondered if you found the answer to why it seemed to run endlessly? All my contacts at HPE had no idea whats going on here. The linux and the windows file shows the same endless running.
